The story of Viberti Giovanni began in 1923 when Antonio Viberti started to produce wine for the guests of his Locanda in Italy. At that time, three grapes type were vinified: the Dolcetto, the Barbera and the Nebbiolo. In 1967, his second son Giovanni, assisted by his wife Maria took over the wine production. The 90’s marks the beginning of exportation in the booming US market. Today, the third generation, embodied by Claudio, the youngest son is directly involved in winemaking ad management operations. The Barolo remains at the center of their business.
