The name Tartuflanghe, the union of the word Truffle and Langhe, it is a tribute to our connection with the land, deeply rooted in the extraordinary Langhe and Roero areas, that is a Unesco World Heritage Site. From this terroir are harvested the truffles that are used for our preparations and are shipped to the best restaurants and hotels worldwide. Tartuflanghe‘s history has always been based on the continuous search for the best raw materials, with increasing attention paid to tradition and the exclusivity of ingredients.
Tartuflanghe is a family run company that has produced Piedmont specialties with truffles and gourmet products with the same quality and attention to detail for 35 years. The story of Tartuflanghe started in the late 60s, when Domenica Bertolusso and Beppe Montanaro, founders of the company, decided to write down the traditional recipes from their restaurant, da Beppe, in the center of Alba, recognized by the Michelin guide as a "must" for those who enjoy truffles and mushrooms. Leveraging the capabilities of Beppe, both a chef with international experience, they began to create the first packaged Piedmont specialties, to make mushrooms and truffles available to all truffle lovers - even out of season.
