It is in the town of Beaune, in Burgundy (France) that “La Moutarderie Fallot” (the last remaining independent family mustard maker in Burgundy) manufactures exceptional mustard using traditional family know-how passed down from generation to generations since 1840. At Fallot, the seeds are still crushed with a millstone as did the mustard craftsman in the past centuries. This unique process allows FALLOT to produce marvelous mustards while preserving all the flavours and the strength of the mustard mix. Marc DESARMENIEN, the grandson of EDMOND FALLOT; who gave his name to the brand; is nowadays managing the company. With a lot of effort put in maintaining the traditions of his ancestors, he managed to grow the notoriety of Fallot mustards in the world of “haute cuisine”. Nowadays, Fallot mustards are the choices of gourmets as well as Michelin starred chefs.
